ARM Linux

Generic ARM Linux (aarch64)

The SDK supports any ARM Linux device with a minimum of 5MB free RAM and 10MB storage. No GPU or NPU is required — the Pure C engine runs efficiently on ARM Cortex-A cores.

Hardware Requirements

Component
Minimum
Recommended
CPU
ARM Cortex-A7 @ 400MHz
Cortex-A55 @ 1GHz+
RAM
5MB free
10MB+ free
Storage
10MB
20MB+
OS

Cross-Compilation

Use your ARM cross-compiler to build the SDK:

# Example using aarch64 cross-compiler
export CC=aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc
make

Deployment

# Copy files to target device
scp cry_detect model_weights.bin root@<device-ip>:/data/

# Run
ssh root@<device-ip> "cd /data && ./cry_detect -f test.wav -e pure_c -w model_weights.bin"

Audio Input

On ARM Linux, audio input is typically via ALSA or a platform-specific SDK. The file backend ("file") can be used for WAV file processing. For microphone input, contact us about adapting a capture backend for your specific audio hardware.
